I am a project coordinator with the amazing team at Scottish Rural Action, helping amplify the diverse inter-linked voices and priorities of rural and island communities across Scotland.

Here’s a little more about me…

I’ve recently completed a MSc with Distinction in Net Zero Communities with the University of the Highlands and Islands. I enjoy supporting rural and island communities with place planning and building hyperlocal resilience, including through my fledgling Eco-Campus Scotland non-profit.

My personal SDG goal is #16, “Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions”. I interpret this as covering multiple sectors and frameworks, including many aspects of the media industry, where I’ve worked since 2012. I’ve worked in award-winning live entertainment, music video, commercials, episodic, feature animation and feature films across the USA, UK, and Europe, including as a management consultant through my company VFX Prod Training.

While I am a generalist agile project manager, my interests also include decentralised renewable energy systems, water security, solutions journalism, food history and heritage, and developing rural cultural hubs.
